Google API Services — User Data Policy Disclosure

How We Use Your Google User Data

Our application integrates with Google Workspace services (Drive, Calendar, and Gmail) to provide ThinkTrends features. We adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

1. Information We Collect and Use

  • Google Drive: We use the drive.file scope to interact only with files you specifically select via the Google Picker. We do not have access to any of your other private files.
  • Google Calendar: We access your calendar to sync deadlines and create events on your behalf.
  • Gmail: We use Gmail permissions solely to send notifications on your behalf.

2. Limited Use & Data Sharing

  • No Selling: We will never sell your Google user data to third parties.
  • No Advertising: Your Google user data will never be used to serve you advertisements.
  • Internal Use Only: Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve ThinkTrends features. We do not share it with any third-party AI models or external databases unless strictly necessary to deliver a service you have requested.
  • No Unauthorized Human Review: Our staff will not read your Google data unless you have given explicit permission (e.g. in connection with a support request) or it is required for security or legal compliance purposes.

3. Data Retention

We do not store any Google user data on our servers. The only information we hold is your OAuth access token, which is used solely to authenticate requests to Google on your behalf during your active session. No email, calendar, or Drive content is ever saved to our systems. When your token expires, it is automatically discarded and you will be prompted to sign in again to obtain a new one.

4. Disconnecting Your Account & Data Deletion

Because we store no personal data beyond your OAuth token, disconnecting your Google account is all that is needed to remove everything we hold. You can revoke access at any time via Settings → Connected Accounts → Disconnect within ThinkTrends. Your OAuth token is permanently deleted from our systems immediately upon disconnection. There is no additional data to request deletion of; however, if you have any questions or concerns, you may contact us.

Your information, including Personal Data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

For Enterprise Clients with Authorized Users operating across multiple regions or countries, ThinkTrends, LLC will work to ensure that all cross-border data transfers are handled in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and any data residency requirements outlined in your enterprise agreement.

If you or your Authorized Users are located outside the United States, please note that we transfer data, including Personal Data, to the United States and process it there. By using the Service — whether as an Enterprise Client or an Authorized User — your consent to this Privacy Policy, followed by the submission of such information, represents your agreement to that transfer.

ThinkTrends, LLC will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. No transfer of Personal Data will take place to an organization or country unless adequate controls are in place, including but not limited to:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
